3.) The director of the original Friday the 13th (Sean S. Cunningham) was the producer of Wes Craven’s The Last House on the Left. Both Craven and Cunningham would go on to have legendary careers in the horror genre.


4.) Throughout 12 movies, Jason Voorhees™ killed over 150 people. It’s safe to say he’s pretty experienced in his trade.


5.) In Friday the 13th (1980) and Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985), Jason Voorhees™ doesn’t kill anyone.


6.) Jason Voorhees™ doesn’t wear his signature hockey mask until Friday the 13th Part III. He doesn’t wear anything over his face in the original Friday the 13th (1980) and in Friday the 13th Part II he wears a bag.


7.) There are four Friday the 13th Video Games. The most recent game was released on May 26th, 2017 and is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.


8.) Freddy vs. Jason has a comic book series. The six-part miniseries is titled Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash, as it also includes the character Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series.
